Cardigan Welsh Corgi were brought in Wales in 1200 BC. It is all rounder farm dog which was used for multiple purposes in Wales. They were also known as yard long dogs during the ancient times.

Cardigans do not generally have any serious health issues. The most common death causes among these breed includes old age, neurological disorders and cancer.
