The Miniature Bull Terrier is a small sized terrier dog which is originated in England. This breed is said to have its origins from the Dalmatian, the Bulldog and the English White Terrier (extinct). It was recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) on May 14, 1991.

Appearance

The Miniature Bull Terrier is small in size but has a strong and muscular body. The eyes are rectangular with dark color and the ears are small and erected. The head is in oval shape (egg shaped) and the tail is horizontally carried. The coat of the dog is short, glossy, harsh and flat.

Generally, the Miniature Bull Terrier dog is seen in solid white color or in any marked color like black, red, fawn, and sometimes in tricolor with white markings.The height of this dog is said to be 10-14 inches (25-33 cm) while the weight varies from 24-33 lb (11-15kgs).

Life Span

The average lifespan of the Miniature Bull Terrier dog is about 10 to 14 years. There are few dogs which lived up to 5 years too and so if special care is taken for the dog it may increase the dog’s life expectancy.

Grooming

This dog needs weekly brushing and occasional bathing. Brush the dog every week to keep it safe and clean from the dust. Daily brushing is needed in the shedding seasons. Check and clean the ears regularly and brush the teeth twice in a week.
